This is a generously scented bar, certain not to leave you wanting in fresh clean scent OR quality ingredients

These bars are what we would call “oversized shower bars,” weighing in at a FULL 4.9 oz. each and measuring 3.4” x 3” x .9”. Perfect for larger hands or just people who don't like to mess around with a lil' old soap in the shower!

As usual, we used the highest quality organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and organic Coconut Oil in this soap. A couple of the star ingredients here include Aloe Vera, Cocoa Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, and just the right dose of Castor Oil. Due to its' deeply cleansing and skin-nourishing properties, Aloe Vera has been used in various skin care preparations for centuries. It is naturally antimicrobial, making it a star performer when added to any soap. Some use Aloe soaps as an after-shave or after-sun soap to get the benefits of the plant without the sticky or greasy feel the fresh gel can sometimes leave behind. Cocoa Butter is a real powerhouse ingredient in soap - helps contribute to a nice hard bar of soap and doubles as a natural emollient for your skin. It is high in fatty acids and Cocoa Mass Polyphenols (CMP's), a type of antioxidant. CMP's are unsaponifiable, meaning they remain in the finished bar of soap (they are not used up during the saponification process). It also helps maintain a stable lather during soap use. When used at higher proportions, some can even smell the rich, buttery, cocoa-like scent of Cocoa Butter! Apricot Kernel Oil is known for its ability to penetrate skin without leaving an oily feeling. It has a superb texture that is great for all soap formulations, including those for mature skin. Castor oil is a natural source of ricinoleic acid, a natural humectant that contributes unique conditioning properties to the finished bar. Castor oil also helps create a fine lather, especially when teamed up at lower proportions with oils like high-quality Olive Oil, Coconut, and Palm Oils. We finished it all off with a bit of real silk for that added touch of luxe AND a good portion of skin-soothing Aloe. This one will be a winner for all seasons, especially for after-sun cleansing or in the depths of winter when skin needs a little extra TLC.All artisan soaps require full drainage between uses to ensure bar hardness and longevity. We recommend that you perform a patch test prior to using any new bath & body product. Our ingredients include (but are not limited to) natural botanicals, exfoliants (Ex: walnut hull, poppy seeds) , butters and oils, and essential and fragrance oils. It is possible for people to be sensitive to something as common as Palm oil and not be aware of it (especially if you have been using commercial soaps which are mostly detergents and surfectants), so please use all due caution. Each bar of soap is lovingly made in small batches by hand with careful attention to detail and quality ingredients by Heart's Path Designs creator Lisa Jenkins.
