NOTE: UPDATED as of 10-23 – these bars are now chunkier! These used to be one of our smaller bars at about 4 oz each. We've updated how we create these bars, cutting them thicker from the loaf, so they now cure up to a fat 1 1/8^th inches wide. This makes the new bar weight a minimum of 4.3 oz (although many bars will weigh a bit more than that). We also ditched the Lavender buds but kept the lovely swirls you are so used to. Enjoy! Do you absolutely LOVE a pure bar of handmade Lavender soap? We’ve got your number! This handmade soap is lovingly made with the same standard of excellence we apply to all of our products, without too many bells and whistles (for those folks that don't fuss with all of that anyways). Available in TWO great Essential Oil varieties, Lavender and Lavender & Bergamot. This bar contains no fragrance, phthalates, surfectants or detergents. The majority of the bar is comprised of high-quality Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, and a good dose of Cocoa Butter. Cocoa Butter is well-known as an emollient in soaps. We have added a touch of real Tussah Silk for a silky-smooth feel when you use it in the shower. Delicate scrolls of white adorn the top for a feel of true elegance. These soaps can be added to gift baskets, given with a floral arrangement, bundled with corporate gifts, or they make great Wedding favors too. Inquire if you would like them made in a different size and/or color scheme for your needs.

Bergamot is sometimes called the Italian cousin to the more well-known lime. Bergamot Essential Oil is distilled from the rinds of this zesty fruit and adds a nice counterbalance to the more floral Lavender. The Lavender-Bergamot scent blend has been a best seller in our lineup for quite a while now, and with good reason! To select either pure Lavender or the Lavender-Bergamot blend, select it on the drop-down menu at check-out. Some bars may have visible cut marks made by the lavender buds during the cutting process - this is purely aesthetic and will not affect the quality of the soap.

At a minimum weight of 4.3 oz , these make perfect shower-sized bars. If you like, you may cut them in half for use as guest soaps or in order to preserve the life of each half. No matter what you choose, please use a dish with good drainage and allow the bar to dry out fully between uses for longest life.

Please remember that all natural botanicals (such as Lavender Buds) WILL change in color over time. Soap was photographed at approximately 6 weeks of cure time, therefore fully cured bars may have a different color to them than what you see here.

This soap is made using the time-honored Cold Process method. As a completely handmade item, there will naturally be some variations from batch to batch.

Packaging: Your handmade creation will arrive with a cardstock “cigar band” style label with the soap name and full ingredients listed. In keeping with a greener business model we work to avoid waste in packaging wherever possible and to use the fewest plastic products possible. Should you need a sturdier plastic over-wrap applied prior to shipment, please message us with your request. Additional charges will apply for this service on orders of more than 1-2 bars.

We recommend that you perform a patch test prior to using any new bath & body product. Our ingredients include (but are not limited to) natural botanicals, exfoliants (Ex: walnut hull, poppy seeds) , butters and oils, and essential and fragrance oils. It is possible for people to be sensitive to something as common as Palm oil and not be aware of it (especially if you have been using commercial soaps which are mostly detergents and surfectants), so please use all due caution.
