The height of luxury (literally), this distinctive “Tall and Skinny” soap has so much going for it! Inspired by the soft hues of the pink-flowered Dogwood tree in Spring (native to many areas of our home state); it bears a slightly peppery, out-of-this-world floral blend reminiscent of Dogwood and Ginger blossoms. Light hints of Petitgrain, Musk, Basil, & Sandalwood may also be detected in this heady blend.

This is one of our “luxury” formulations; starting with our usual high-quality EVOO and organic Coconut oil and featuring BOTH Shea and Cocoa Butters with a good dose of light, skin-loving Apricot Kernel Oil in there too! Just a touch of Castor Oil is used to achieve a good, stable lather. As if all of that luxury wasn't enough, we finished it off with a touch of real silk for maximum decadence for your bathing experience.

A little information about a few of the quality ingredients in this bar - Apricot Kernel Oil is known for its ability to penetrate skin without leaving an oily feeling. It has a superb texture that is great for all soap formulations and can be wonderful for mature or dry skin. Shea Butter is a natural fat from the nuts of the Karite Tree. Shea butter is high in vitamins A, E, and F and antioxidants. The higher-than-average proportion of unsaponifiables in Shea Butter lead to a very rich, conditioning finished bar. Cocoa Butter is a real powerhouse ingredient in soap - helps contribute to a nice hard bar of soap and doubles as a natural emollient for your skin. It is high in fatty acids and Cocoa Mass Polyphenols (CMP's), a type of antioxidant. CMP's are unsaponifiable; again, creating a nourishing bar of finished soap. It also helps maintain a stable lather during soap use. Organic Coconut Oil contributes to a nice, fluffy lather and good cleansing properties. Organic Olive Oil: glycerin; a byproduct of the soap-making process, is retained well in natural olive oil soaps. Glycerin is highly moisturizing -- it actually absorbs water from the air (this is known as a “humectant” property). Olive Oil soaps won't dry out your skin like commercial bars that have had much of the glycerine stripped out of them.

At nearly 5 ounces minimum weight each, this soap is great for those who love both a good-sized shower bar AND a great skin-nourishing lather!

The polished stacked-layer design is interrupted by fine, light-gold mica lines with just a hint of the mica also swirled into the creamy top layer. At a full 4.7 oz each, this is a delicate yet chunky bar of soap! They may be cut in half lengthwise for posh party favors or stood on end in your shower for a bold statement. All artisan soaps require full drainage between uses to ensure bar hardness and longevity. Soaps that sit in even a little water can become prematurely soft and develop an unsightly sticky layer. We recommend use of a soap deck, 2-piece dish with insert, or another dish that allows your handcrafted gem to fully air out between uses.

Each bar of soap is lovingly made in small batches by hand with careful attention to detail and quality ingredients by Heart's Path Designs creator Lisa Jenkins. As a completely handmade item, there will naturally be some variations from bar to bar and from batch to batch.

All of our “First Blush” bars are cured a minimum of 6 weeks.

Packaging: This artisan soap arrives with a decorative cardstock band. In order to reduce excessive packaging and plastic waste, we do not routinely overwrap our bars with plastic. Please inquire if you would like additional packaging for your item (additional charges may apply).
