This unapologetically bold bar is head and shoulders above the rest at 3” x 3” x 1” and a minimum weight of 4.8 oz (some bars weigh up to 5.2 oz). The high proportion of premium ingredients (including Activated Charcoal, French Green Clay and Shea Butter & Avocado Oil) make it an excellent facial soap to add to your skin care routine. Shea Butter comprises 22% of the oils weight in this bar, taking pampering to a whole new level. As with so many of our fine handmade bars, we added a touch of Tussah silk during the soap making process for a super-silky lather. Last but not least this bar boasts a 6% luxury Babassu Oil content, increasing the fine, soft lather you get with every use. The fine embossed Celtic Knot design is a conversation piece in its own right, so feel free to display one or two of these in your bath area, or use this as a hand soap if your guests can handle it!

This soap is scented with a fresh, lively Tobacco & Bay leaf blend, bearing notes of Bay Leaf, Fir Needle, Tobacco, Cedarwood, and Bergamot. This works great as a gift for men, a soap to keep a few bars of at the cabin; or just for those folks who love rich, nostalgic scent blends inspired by the outdoors.

Shea Butter comes from the seeds of the Shea (Karite) tree and is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It has been used for hundreds of years in skin care products. Avocado Oil is very gentle on skin and creates a soft, conditioning lather that pairs quite nicely with the fine polishing action from the Activated Charcoal and real French Green Clay in this bar. If your skin tends to be extremely dry, try using our Nightfall bar once every other day or once every third day to help tone and polish. We recommend use of our Organic Olive Oil bar (with or without herbs) in between for those cases.

Our Nightfall bar is naturally rich in color due to the charcoal and clay used; and therefore will produce bubbles that are slightly gray in color. It CAN stain light-colored washcloths, so please use caution there. Rinses beautifully clean from skin. We suggest use of a bath pouf or simply use the bar alone to gently “polish” your skin while cleansing. Some bars may have some visible “soda ash” - a natural by-product of the saponification process - particularly along the back or sides of the bar. Soda ash is purely aesthetic and does not affect performance of your soap.

This soap is made using the time-honored Cold Process method. As a completely handmade item, there will naturally be some variations from batch to batch.

We recommend that you perform a patch test prior to using any new bath & body product. Our ingredients include (but are not limited to) natural botanicals, exfoliants (Ex: walnut hull, poppy seeds) , butters and oils, and essential and fragrance oils. It is possible for people to be sensitive to something as common as Palm oil and not be aware of it (especially if you have been using commercial soaps which are mostly detergents and surfectants), so please use all due caution.

Each bar of soap is lovingly made in small batches by hand with careful attention to detail and quality ingredients by Heart's Path Designs creator Lisa Jenkins.

Packaging: This artisan soap arrives with a decorative cardstock band. In order to reduce plastic waste, we do not routinely over-wrap with plastic. Please inquire if you would like additional packaging for your item (additional charges may apply).
